I did gymnastics for 12 years, after retiring I took a break from all things athletics. But I didn't like how I felt. I got into "typical" gym workouts and kickboxing in the spring of 2008, then realized I wanted to do more and get more out of my workouts. I like the idea of working out towards a goal, not just for the sake of looking good.
Why I Love It:
It allows me to keep everything in perspective, to remain balanced, focused and grounded in all aspects of my life. I love the hard work. I love how when you continually give 100% you can look in the mirror, see results and see that your hard work paying off.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's naturally addictive! The more I do, the more improvements and changes I see, and the more I'm encourage to continue and keep pushing myself.
"Just know at the end of the tunnel there is a beautiful body waiting for you."
Applies to workouts & diet:
"Miss one day, you know. Miss two days, your trainer knows. Miss three days, everyone knows."

Description: I'm on a news clip as the "fitness model" demonstrating weekend-workout exercises. I look totally goofy/creepy (note: less eyeliner next time and different hairdo) but happy with the neck down First time after all :)
Today someone asked me (through email) how my body was looking, show prep-wise. When I told her, her response was "wow! sounds like just where you should be! it's a mind game now." I was appreciative of the positive response, and boy, she couldn't have been more right about it being...
I stopped by to say that you look absolutely great. You have the body that so many women want but are not willing to put the effort into developing. You should be complimented on your dedication, determination as well as achievement. You are a fantastic inspiration to so many others. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless.
Looks like you are doing AWESOME! Great new pic!! Loved the blog too! Sometimes we need to vent, even if no one is listening haha..Mind over matter right..I agree 100% we work so hard and sometimes want instant gratification..It happens and the people who love you will understand we all have good days and cranky days! Hang in there, your half way to the finish line :)

Yeah you will learn to appreciate the days when you can have oats, LOL..I'm getting excited for you! I wish I was competing but I'm glad I've decided to wait till the spring! Was curious if you tumble at a specific gym, just wondering went to do a backhandsping the other night at the gym...well lets just say I'm not as graceful as I was 10 years ago HAHA..Trying to find somewhere w/ a pit or trampoline so I don't break anything :)
are you surviving with the low carbs and extra cardio? When I was on a keto diet in the past I swear it was more mentally challenging than physically, LOL..I like to eat and stay full from real food, not veggies haha..Hope your week is well!
