I've been fat and I've been skinny. I want to keep the weight off and get abs!
Why I Love It:
it helps me work thing out. Whenever I have some thinking I need to do or a decision to make, I hit the gym or go for a walk.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm having a hard time with that right now. My brother is really the one that supports me lifting. One of fitness trainer friends keeps me that I should just take classes.
My whole life I've struggled with weight. I've been fat and skinny. I'd like to be at a place in my life where there no more up and downs. Just healthy living and heathly eating. It's time for a change!
The past few weeks, I've had my brother come out and teach me more about lifting etc. I now know more then I knew before. I'd really like to get a more custom work out going so I can get the results that I want.
I need toning all over, esp my thighs (I'm 25, I should not have...
Just to be clear, those single leg squats are 10-12reps on one leg, THEN switch to the other....you will hate them but they will help you,lol. Have a good one!
This is so intense you will cry,lol(rest ONLY 1min. between sets, and not a second longer)You will NOT need a lot of weight{if you have a stop watch, use it to time the 1min. rest between sets:
Barbell squats 5 setsx10-12 reps
Single leg squats 5sets(right leg,then left=1set) 10-12 reps
Leg extensions 5 setsx10-12 reps
Dumbell lunges 5setsx15reps(right, then left=1 rep)
Lying leg curls 5setsX10-12reps
This will INCINERATE fat, and build lean super amazing legs I promise:)
HOw was your workout today. I just had to run for mine. What kind of shoes do you use for your cardio. I think I need new ones because my feet are killing me. Anyway, I hope you had a great Training day.
One more advice is a lot of muscle development is in how you do the reps as well, a good controlled movement concentrating on imaculate form..Hope all this helps..
Change it up week to week, Example, 1st set12 2nd 10... This really does look like a good program for building muscle, and not too much cardio, which will wittle you down to nothing,lol! Give it a shot, you will speak no more of "is this enough", I promise you,lol!!! Take care beautiful one:)
Hi! Just read the Jennifer Nicole Lee workout plan...sounds good. the key is during those three sets of ten that you ARE using weight where you can get no more than 12 reps. Start the 1st set at a weight heavy enough that 8 is the limit, next set a little less weight(10reps) and a bit less weight for the 3rd(12reps)...
yeah it's the best feeling in the world. Well it good to hear that your doing better. I am slowly feeling better, my energy is still low but that's how it goes. So now that your feeling better did you work out?
this week has been short in terms of lifting for me as well. I have had a weird head cold due to allergies ( i believe). And there was also a shooting at my appartments' parking lot. So no one could leave due to possibly tampering the crime scene. But lunges and squats are always great. I know that I like to use the smith machine for squat. As far as lunges, i do them but hate them. Hope you get better.
