Overall Goal: To always keep God 1st no matter what I'm doing. Keep my mind right admist life's ups and downs.
To push myself to the limits for every show and be more conditioned! Be patient, kind, and humble in my everyday life and BRING THE FIRE AND SASSINESS O
Fit Status:
Waiting for the day to be over!! Why so I can go back to the gym!
I've always worked out....however I decided to take my workouts to another level. I peaked at 185 lbs..the heaviest I've ever been!!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it helps me relieve stress, keeps my b*tchiness to a minimum (well I'd like to think so, I love the way my body looks!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of figure competitors. Trust me I have my days when I'm like the hell with the gym...but then I feel guilty. I also put on some heels and strut my stuff in front of my mirrors and I love what I see.
BB Accomplishments:
I've managed to maintain a weight within 10 lbs of contest weight. I'm doing better at eating clean in the off season. I have continued to competed since my first show in June 2008.
To always keep God 1st no matter what I'm doing. Keep my mind right admist life's ups and downs.
To push myself to the limits for every show and be more conditioned! Be patient, kind, and humble in my everyday life and BRING THE FIRE AND SASSINESS O
Goal (Long):
I've accomplished part of my goal...in November 2008, I peaked at my heaviest...185 lbs. Never in my life have I weighed that much...I was going to the gym daily however my diet sucked! All week I would go to the gym then comes Friday and Saturday and it was cheese pizza, wine, cheese, and CEREAL! So that will undo any working out....
Anyone who takes the time to read this, be encouraged! If I can lose 35 lbs in 6 short months so can you. Yes it's discipline, yes it's diet, but you will love yourself even more when you see the results. Don't let anyone discourage you and remember once you start this it's a "lifestyle" change, and by that I mean your diet and exercise. Remember not everyone is up for the challenge...never accept complacency and discouragement from anyone regarding your lifestyle change.
FOR THE LADIES: Don't throw away those "skinny jeans". C'mon you know the pair that we keep and we say to ourselves I'm going to get back into those one day. My skinny jeans have become my loose jeans :)
AGAIN BE ENCOURAGED, SET YOUR MIND TO IT AND STICK WITH YOUR GOALS!!
Oh I forgot to mention....I want my pro card!

She manages to stay lean throughout the entire year. She is an example of someone who doesn't let their age define them or deter them from working out!
As I type this blog, I am excited because prejudging is over. I had such a good time on that stage yesterday. I honestly feel like Yorton Cup show was harder than this show. I look at every show as gaining on the job training. I feel like if I can't have fun while out there then it's time...
Hello.. I am quite new to this site, but have made a declaration to transform my body. I have no aspirations to be competitive. This new transformation is for personal and emotional reasons. Its something I want to do for me. You look fantastic. What supplements would you suggest I start with? I am over 40 and was wondering are there supplements out there specifically geared to women my age?
HEY!!!! I met with Joe today. I am ready to get down to business!!! I wanna thank you for your help and also wish you nothing but the best in your upcomming competition/s!!! I am sure I will see you in the gym someday. Take care! TTyl
It was God that got me through my pain and when I read where you always keep God 1st I just had to write and give you praise. You have done incredible work on your body and are not only one of the best built but also one of the most beautiful lady's here on Bb.com and yet are so humble and give all praise to the Lord.
I wish you nothing but success and may God bless.
