Overall Goal: Its official I fell off :( Went though a tough tough couple of months. I am 100% accountable and am turning a new leaf to try to get back to my old self. Thanks for all your support.
Fit Status:
My diet took a plunge these past two weeks... I am getting 100% clean this week and I should be fine.
Growing up I was always involved in sports and an avid athlete. I played volleyball for years and never really appreciated my toned body. Well, when I moved out when I turned 20 and realized really fast how eating cheap and unhealthy will add up and come slap you in the face. I gained 35 pounds!!!! Luckily for me I am tall so It dispersed well but at the end of the day I knew that wasn't me. I ended up coming home for a few months turning off my phone & basically turning off the world. I ordered the P90X program and took off 25 pounds. Granted, I wasn't where a really wanted to be physically but I proved to myself that only I can change my destiny. Thats when I joined Gold Gym and got serious about weight training. The only downside is that it is a lot harder coming off than it was putting on. But I will keep my head up and know that all the hours and research I do... it WILL pay off.
Why I Love It:
I love working out b/c I know that I haven't seen my best yet. I believe that I have so much to look forward to. I hope to one day make a career in the fitness industry. I have witnessed first hand how hard work pays off. Plus, Im putting my god given talents to use. Who doesn't love that?
How I Stay Motivated:
I must admit, it is hard. I work and live in a city that partys hard. All my friends drink and eat horribly, and sometimes I see them eat quesadillas and drink a beer and think they look the same and still do that, how is that possible. But I know that I am not them and I will suffer if I do choose to live that lifestyle. I just take one day at a time I guess. Also, I look at girls in the gym who look great and that kinda inspires me. :)

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Just made me well rounded really. My dads side has all kinds of heart diseases and such and I guess Im trying to end the cycle with my self and my brothers.

Not yet, but I am getting my CPT liscence and will go to school in the fall for sports medicine.

Hey I see your using P90X also.. very cool very cool ... I started in Jan and I lost 15lbs. but I spend the month of May just biking getting ready for a Donation even on biking 25 miles for Bike MS ...
So starting tomororw P90X is back on schedual. I LOVE THE PROGRAM.
My boyfriend, Harry, said he would start with me. I'm very excited about that. :D

yea id say you dont look 180 like you said. what is your weight training vs cardio? well i have similar goals except for the whole skirt to the gym idea, umm i sure you understand haha. im trying to cut rite now. im at about 12 1/2% bf and id like to get down to around 8. but if i choose to compete itll have to be 5. ive never had abs either and they are starting to pop up, LOVE IT!!!!

Just eat before you go :) I take a medicine called Lyrica and is main side effect is increased appitite which was fun at first but give me a break lol.
