Well for the longest time I was always way to thin. All through high school i was about 50 - 75 underweight. It affected my self-esteem and in the back of my mind it never went away.
Then I got stationed in Elmendorf AFB, Alaska and I kinda caught up on my weight. Maybe even a little too much. I blew up to about 275lbs of unhealthy, non-workout, fast food weight. And do to the fact that it was almost always dark there for 8 straight months and cold as hell, I never seemed to make it to the gym.
It was shortly after I hit that weight when I went TDY to Austriala and Japan for about 40 Days and I must have got some sort of sickness or something because when I returned for the trip I lost about 40lbs in 30 days. So needless to say I lost weight to fast and my body suffered because of it.
It was after that whole situation that I realized something needed to change. I began going to the gym about 3 or 4 times a week and did even a little cardio but my motivation and support from others was not there.
Then I moved to Las Vegas, NV and noticed that the majority of the people here were very into fitness and health and I felt like I was the odd man out. I ended up moving in with a friend from Alaska who moved here as well and he was extremely into fitness and a very motivated individual.
He basically got me to stay focused and get into firness like he was. I saw how being healthy and fit kept him in a positive frame of mind and how it affected his life in a positive way. Now I have goals I never even thought I would have and I won't stop until I reach them.
Why I Love It:
I love how I look when I am feeling a good pump at the gym and the energy I feel after a good workout. I like it when people glance over at me and look at what I am doing. I feel like I am somebody important that other can look up to at some point.
How I Stay Motivated:
Everytime I go back home to Cali and I go to the beach in Newport or Venice, all I see is hot good looking confident people. And I say if they can well so can I. Besides girls love a guy that can take care of himself and keep in shape right?!?!?!
BB Accomplishments:
Starting to work out and sticking to it without stopping and making excuses.

Taken in the morning after taking about a month off due to the holidays and other crap. I look like crap, starting new routine this week.
Summer is just about here! Have to get a summer body!
Goal (Long):
I have always been told by friends and family, " Jason, if you would just take you health and body seriously and hit the gym you could really become something people would admire physically!"
I use to be lazy and ate the wrong kinds of foods and basically just didn't care. But after my divorce a year ago, I kinda did some soul searching and I found that I didn't love myself physically or mentally. I didnt like the way I looked and didn't like how I didn't care.
So now I have become motivated and determined and I will stop at nothing untill I am satisfied with myself. And anyone who I meet along the way that will support me, well THANK YOU!
My son has been at Nellis since early Dec. He just started hitting the gym the last couple of weeks. I don't remember his MOS but he's "base taxi"
Looks like you've been training hard, good results.
awwwww thank you!!!!! I am getting on there! I still want to get some definition and muscles. I want some four pack ha ha on my abs, a bit of muscles on my legs and arms. lol at you asking me to take vacation at las vegas... ha... will see lol.
There is one thing I do different. I do not eat any carbs whatsoever after 6 pm. Ok so i'll throw in a few more tricks. Take thermogenics in the morning on an empty stomach to speed up your metabolism. Eat small meals throughout the day, say every 3 hours. Take nitric oxides to blow up your muscles. The more muscle the more fat you'll burn. Good luck!
alaska? nice :)
i've been there before... what threw me off was the long long long car rides to get everywhere and the hotels that only served danishes and orange juice for breakfast!
Oh hahha! I bet you did had a very fun weekend! I went hiking at Angel Island. I had a great training yesterday... well, Vacation eh..., well, maybe~ starts on Thursday.
LOL!!! Yes, I am very tired yet I have my energy drink next to me. I don't often drink energy from the store yet, oh well..I must have it. SO, how about you? Tired at all?
