When I Started:
Jun, 2007
How I Started:
When I found that I was going to be deploying to the Middle East for the 3rd time, I decided that I was going to go and do something about how I looked rather than just sit around and do nothing for 6 months. I had wasted the 2 previous opportunities I had been handed and decided that I would put my foot down and get to it. I really wanted to change how I looked and suprise a few people when I got back. Also I wanted to get into a lifestyle that I could continue when I got back so that I could keep off the fat I wanted to get rid of.
Why I Love It:
Well, all the comments from people that I haven't seen in a while, and the newfound energy I have all the time now.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just look in the mirror and ask myself if I really want to revert back to a lazy, overweight loner.
BB Accomplishments:
The biggest accomplishment anyone can have is deciding to start in the first place.
I want to shock everyone when I come back from deployment with my new body.
Goal (Long):
After high school, I really didn't exercise at all. Going from pounding the weights in school to a seditary lifestyle really took it's toll on my body. When I went to Basic Training, a lot of my mass went away and I started my new life at 165 lbs, but after continuing the lazy life I was used to, I quickly found myself back to 225 lbs. Deploying and getting older has shown me that there's more to life that I'm missing and I want to be a part of it now. No longer will I settle for sitting around at night being a couch potato. No longer will I settle for eating anything that's put in front of me. I will not be a statistic for diabetes. I will have a six pack for the first time in my life. I will push myself to 10% body fat. And I will continue.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 35 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

So working out hasn't been too bad these past 2 months, just the usual soreness from time to time when you know you have had a good day. But today, wow! I started out with rope crunches, going farther than I felt was really comfortable, really trying to get as much as I could out of...
Hey brother, i will be getting pictures and that stuff up as soon as i get the camera that has been sent to me. Thinking about taking something, not sure what yet, give me some advice and we will go from there. Starting to look better, but try to get some better definition and get rid of all that flab. Ok check you later
I see a big change in two months! Two months is a very short period of time! Keep up this pace and you will definitely shock people when you get back! (They might not even recognize you!)
Good Luck,
Chantie
