When I Started:
Nov, 2006
How I Started:
Alot of researching on bodybuilding got me thinking that i too can achieve a body like the governator and Bob Chicherillo!
Why I Love It:
Want to better my physique, love the "pump" feeling after a good workout. Love to see/feel muscles i didnt know i had work.
How I Stay Motivated:
watching Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, watching the Fitshow on bodybuilding.com, looking in the mirror seeing whats growing and what needs help.
BB Accomplishments:
Loosing excess body fat, having veins pop out everywhere, bacially get my body to the point where if i wanted to compete i could do so without having to "move mountains" as Bob Chicherillo says. My all time goal has been to have a muscular physique and not worry about what to wear because any clothing will show off my physique.I want people to look at me and just automatically know with out even asking me, "Damn, that guy works out!"
Want a muscular physique to possibly consider competitive bodybuilding. And ofcourse show my body at the beach too.
Goal (Long):
Since my childhood, i have been a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger ( like millions of other males), my favorite childhood movie was, and always will be "Conan The Barbarian". I was alway fasinated by the fact that a human being could change his physique into something amazing. So strong, almost like it was carved out of stone. But as a kid, i never knew anybody with that amazment, or passion as i had so i guess thats why i wasnt able to begin bodybuilding at an early age. Now i'm in college, on my own, away from home, i've taken this to be the perfect time for me to pickup bodybuilding and try it out seriously. I've started by doing alot of researching on supplemets, I can honestly say that i have learned soo much, things that i never knew are a part of me now. Same goes with training, i have learned soo much about how isolation of the muscles your working out is the key to making them grow. I really have to owe it to Bodybuilding.com because there i have been able to see their FitShow webcasts (which are amazing) and have helped me in learning new tricks and techniques at the gym as well as nutritional information. I have even become very familiar with various bodybuilders such as; Bob Chicherillo ( i very much enjoyed his "War for the Worlds" series, and even bought the "World Class Pyhsique: Fundamentals Of Bodybulding" 3 disc DVD, which has taught me a whole lot), and Jerome "Hollywood" Fergueson (really entertaining guy to watch and learn from). So in all, my goal is to live up to what these guys have accomplished in a career in Bodybuilding, i want that incredible physique which i can see in the mirror and say to myself, "ok, its been hell getting to this level, but the results are more rewarding then anything else." And then throw in a few poses...haha. Oh yes, Poses are something new i've slowly been learning also, i had seen some bodybuilding shows on tv a few years ago, but i never put any attention to the poses and what it really means to strike a Back-double Bi, or a Lat spread, until now. I have really become very hungry for the sport of Bodybuilding and i want to make it a part of my everyday life.
