When I Started:
Jul, 2007
How I Started:
I've always been an athlete, I played everything from soccer to basketball, I've always been a runner and I even tackled powerlifting. But even then I wasn't into lifting, I was really thin and toned from all my activities. But with age came....well bad knees lol. So 2 dear friends of mine in the summer of 07 got me back into the gym. They gave me great eating and lifting tips. So now I LOVE fitness and every aspect of it.
Why I Love It:
It helps me with my confidence. I love molding my body to how I want to look. It's a challenge but it's worth it. It's also a dream of mine to become a personal trainer and fitness model...so I have to work hard.
How I Stay Motivated:
By reading and studying. I admire Tanji Johnson and Melissa Hall..... and esp. Alicia Marie! They keep me motivated. All the women on this site also keep me motvated.... it's great to see so many beautiful and strong ladies on here. Also by seeing other people, I'm naturally competitive so I want to be the best. I want to one day inspire people how I've been inspired.
BB Accomplishments:
I deadlifted 270 for strongest in the AOR in Dec 2007 and competed in my first competition Aug 2009.

AFMuslimGalupdated Fit Status "Need to step my cardio game up....got Tris and Delts today!"
I had to put this on here, this was years ago in Germany. I was really thin back then lol a cutie though but thin. all I did was run and run some more.
HOW ABOUT THOSE COWBOYS?! PLAYOFFS HERE WE COME BABY
Goal (Long):
Well I am currently deployed and not to make excuses lol but there arent many ways to eat clean here... so I will admit I've been slacking a little. Well I'll be back in late Jan so I'll be back to eating clean. I am still working out and training hard while I am here so hopefully the extra weight/body fat will go away once I am home and back on my diet. Just need a little guidance and motivation and I think I'll be well on my way. I am still working on my BA in fitness promotions/sports management. And starting in 2010 I want to obtain my certification through ISAA. In the distant future, I want to compete more, fitness model, and one day have my very own fitness center.
She's beautiful and strong and not afraid to show it. I've been a fan for a while and she's a true inspiration and just looking at her makes me want to push even harder. Thank you Ava for what you do!
Alicia Marie is the total package. She's lean, fierce and beautiful. Being one of the women to represent BSN products (which are my fav btw) has to be awesome. She's one of my fitness icons who I'd love to meet one day and thank her for all she does but she has inspired me very much so.
Well I am always open to suggestions and to try new things. My new goals are to drop down to 12% body fat for competition purposes and lose inches in my waist. I'm currently deployed and training here but the food is far from clean so I'm doing the best I can. I just ordered some Atro-Phex...
Thursday: Back, Bis and Chest
Friday: Tris, Traps, and Delts
Saturday: Hamstrings, Quads, Calves and Glutes
Sunday: Back, Bis and Chest
Monday: Tris, Traps, and Delts
Tuesday: Hamstrings, Quads, Calves and Glutes
I just started this, just wanting to experiment with different splits.
Yeah i am going to call Washington and tell them to sell the team or take all of that money they wasted and apply it to the economy. But love for now and cry later because they will not go far someone is going to choke and not on a chicken bone guess who that will be.lol
I got back from my 2nd deployment back in April, still feels like yesterday though... Well I know it's hard to keep a good diet over there, but I can see you becoming something great very soon when you return. Hope to see you on stage and fulfill your dreams when you come back to the states!! Keep safe Girlie!!
I wish you total success in all you do. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Remember: "Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be."
