Overall Goal: I want to get more agile and build short-burst power for martial arts. I want to have more quick strength and endurance.
Fit Status:
Good days so far. Keep pumping out workouts. Rib finally is pain free so I can start ab/core work again. Excited to start getting shredded!
I was 270+ lbs, out of shape and miserable. I smoked, I drank and ate poorly and was sedentary. One day I woke up and decided that I'd had enough and I was ready to earn the body I always wanted.
Why I Love It:
I love looking better and better each day, and the feeling I get driving into work after a good workout. It's an "on-top-of-the-world" emotion you can rarely get elsewhere.
How I Stay Motivated:
I never, ever want to go back to the way I was before, and what I gain every day through each workout is worth so much more than I could get if I didn't workout and eat right.
BB Accomplishments:
I've dropped almost a hundred pounds. I started taking a martial arts class. I used to get winded walking up stairs but now I can run a couple miles even after good workout.

I want to get more agile and build short-burst power for martial arts. I want to have more quick strength and endurance.
Goal (Long):
I want to live forever! Hah, wouldn't that be nice? I want to build serious lean muscle, be lightning fast with power to spare. Who wouldn't want that? I want to earn my black belt and start instructing, run marathons and do a double-take every time I pass a mirror. =)
Wow. I hope to look this good well into my older years. I used to look like his "before" pictures when I was in my TEENS; seeing how far he's come shows me how far I've come, how far I've yet to go, and how limitless the path is.
What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
Gingko, Ginseng and Ashwagandha because I'm into natural supplements and they seem to help me stay energized to get through the day after a workout. I also take CoQ10.

What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
Ashwagandha, Gingko and Ginseng because these are natural herbal supplements that are good for energy and focus. CoQ10 for energy. Green Tea because, hey, it's Green Tea.
