I like to keep things simple, measurable and practical.
Day 1: Chest
Cardio: Usually anywhere from a half to 1 km warm up jog, and 45 minutes of general cardio afterward, leave the intervals at home, but rock the Kettle Bells if they're around, usually 60% HR 'cause I need my carbs for lifting, just trying to burn excess fats. Basketball or Soccer with a buddy is a great way to bring in the cardio and not have to think about it!
I don't sweat a rest day, I listen to my body, if I need to rest I rest, I keep maticulous records of all my lifts but I don't necessarily stick to the same lifts each day, just always make sure to bring in the regulars, that way I don't plateau. With this I've seen constant increases in all my lifts while burning fat (not an easy feat) and I'm certain that once I am at a happy body fat % I will be building muscle with this same regimen.
