I truly feel that we should only be eating it if it comes from a plant or has a mother. If it was made in a plant, it's refined/altered (with exceptions such as oils - coconut is my fav BTW). I do eat some organic foods and proteins, but I'm not sold on the organic lifestyle (since to be completely organic, you would have to grow it yourself and besides, to be labeled organic does not mean it is organic to the true defintion anyway) but I am VERY non-GMO.
