Currently using the Michelle Bridge's Crunchtime Cookbook. Nice recipes, good nutrition, fresh food. Dropped 7kgs in 6 week and now looking to strip the final bit of flab from my stomach and then building more muscle. Awesome cookbook, even the kids eat some of the dishes. Also when it comes to diet I cannot stress the importance of drinking plenty of water, not only during workouts but throughout the day. I consume no less than 4.5 litres a day!
I believe that staying fit and healthy should be done for yourself. Any other motive such as gaining favor with girls, or impressing others is feeble and no permanent lifestyle change is sustainable in this manner. Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you want to become better, faster, stronger, healthier. Never set limits, only short term goals that you can continually conquer day by day, month by month, year by year.
