Ok, So I know that to make any progress with anything I need to stick to a program and complete it, which isn't what I was doing! I started doing the StrongLifts 5 x 5 program and was seeing some strength gains quite quickly but as anybody knows who has done this, there is no pump while working out and no soreness to follow, so in my head i was thinking that i wasn't getting anywhere so i stopped doing it for some usual 3 x 8-10 rep workouts using compound lifts and a couple of isolation moves...
