When I Started:
Mar, 2009
How I Started:
I was tired of living my lifestyle and after a few medical conditions and the lack of old hobbies I decided it was a better time than ever to get my body back on track.
Why I Love It:
Nothing is more rewarding than a great looking body and that is exactly what I want!!! It makes me feel empowered when I leave the gym soaking wet with sore muscles and a vein here and there popping out. I WANT MORE!!!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
It's not easy to hit it every day in different ways, I have started reading the forums and people's profiles more for motivation towards the goals I want. I also just think back to close not fitting and the way I always felt.
BB Accomplishments:
So far I have dropped from 241lbs (mid February) to 208lbs (Mid June).

Goals:
Main Goal:
Transform My Body
Goal (Overall):
I want to drop to 8-10% body fat and lose my midsection bulk as well as increase my muscle mass over my entire body.
Goal (Long):
After a heart attack from a birth defect and a bad turn of luck from a heat stroke in 07 I have been trying to become a more healthy person. I have never really eaten the way a healthy person should and I always lived a sedentary lifestyle. I want that to change... In February of '09 I hit my highest weight ever 238lbs and I decided it was time I take back control of my body in order to live a better life and enjoy myself more. I joined a small gym on the 18th of February and had my first physical assessment and to my findings I was in pretty bad shape. According to the assessment I had the following results that I would like to share as a starting point for my changes; Weight - 238lbs Bodyfat - 23% BMI - 31.4 Resting HR - 69 V02Max - 17.7 Grip - 121Kg Hip flexion - 14.5" As you can read I wasn't treating myself properly somewhat due to the previous medical problems I was faced with but 60% due to lack of motivation and lack of knowledge of what to do about it. I want to change my body completely and live a healthier lifestyle as well as enjoy the benefits of being a more healthy person. I have a short term goal to be 210lbs by my birthday in May of this year. On the other hand is my long term goal of reaching 200-210lbs @ 8-10% body fat, this is my 18-24 month goal. I also want to be able to run 13 miles at a 9 minute/mile pace.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%
