Ever since freshman year of high school I started lifting weights. The first time I picked up a weight, I didn't know how strong I was. Ever since then I've been addictted to working out. My strength coach in high school, who was formally full-time with the Redskins, showed me how to lift weights.
Why I Love It:
The sound of the weights banging together and hitting the floor makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. The pump you get after a long hard workout and the feeling that you worked harder than the next guy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading bodybuilding magazines, books, and watching bodybuilding movies. Knowing that if i quit working out, I will lose my size and feel like nothing.
Today was Nationals in Annapolis for the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation. There was a great crowd. Over 100 spectators and around 30 lifters. This was my 2nd powerlifting competition.
