oldermuscledude Awesome, dude--you've got the right idea! With regards to the cramps and soreness, try massage or foam rolling on your calves. It hurts like hell but you'll feel better afterwards. Keep on working at them--they look good now, and can only look better the more you work them! Calf work IS hard work, and it's one of the areas I'd like to see progress as well--I've got d*** skinny calves..... Jan 26, 2013 2:23pm

oldermuscledude Calves are hard to train cuz they get so much use every single day. Do you do seated as well as standing calf work? Try doing calf work on a 40-degree leg press machine sometime (don't quite lock your knees out). Seated calf work targets soleus--your other calf muscle--and helps add thickness and width to your calves. I still say that they rock though...keep at it! Jan 26, 2013 12:46pm

MichelleParish No I mean on the treadmill! You like 30 seconds at 3.5 no incline and then you go 30 seconds balls to the wall sprint 9-12. repeat for 20-30 minutes. MichelleParish Alright FIRST OF ALL lol Naturally lean is a no lol Naturally I was given chicken legs, stick arms, no ass and a gut lol I had to work backwards! ha but I feel you. Ectomorphs make me sick! Okay okay though so I see whats going on. Switch up your cardio. if you do what youve always done youll look how youll always look which is GREAT but you wanna look better. So cut back on the cardio, same amount of times per week but just do 20-30 min of interval training! Thatll lean you out! Nov 12, 2012 8:34am

At least youre not my ass sittin at almost 23% thats a slap in the face lol you know what works in your favor? the fact that you have a penis. Having a vagina is damnation. MichelleParish The next day's always bad. You'll drop some water in the next few days and be fine, feel better, and start seeing results again! I do compete (occasionally). Havent in 2 years. I didn fitness, broke both feet on a beam and then switched to bikini. Did bad lol I wanted to compete this year. Trained all year but I had to have surgery then I hurt my foot and I was like F it, its not my year lol So Im hoping to make the spokesmodel finals so I can soothe my competition bug! MichelleParish Okay so just a suggestion, you want to burn more calories but you keep going lower. Maybe try raising them? In my experience when you hit a plateau you have to eat more not less. So maybe a cheat meal? Usually works for me! I've hit plateaus for months and fought it thinking, "Oh Ill just go harder, eat stricter" and my body fights me. When i finally give in and fuel my body, it repays me with awesomeness lol Nov 9, 2012 10:19pm
