I started working out in 2004 with dumbbells (without a clue), and from 2007 I've been working out lightly with various basic exercises. Since 2004, there were many on-and-off times, but in August 2008 I decided that I really want to develop my body and joined a gym.
Why I Love It:
Pumping is my remedy! I can see my progress, and I love the pump. I also like to always try to get better than I am now.
How I Stay Motivated:
Even if I don't see much progress, I know that my body is transforming. I just keep on training and eating, because I know I will get results sooner or later.
I also always try to be better than another person, so that keeps me going.
One week now on Xtend (pre & intra), Nitro-Tech Hardcore (post) & Syntha-6 (pre-bed).
After 4-week creatine cycle at 185.1 lb and 8.7% body fat. Note: I have no clue how to set the lighting to get the definition out more, but this is what I came up with (not good - too much light, therefore no definition).
I am trying to add weight in a controlled way, by additionally doing deadlifts and squats, who should add overall mass. I also want my back to get wider and more powerful, and I'm trying to do that with 5 perfect-form pull-ups about 5 times a day (except on back day).
Description: I am dunking the ball reverse-style! March 2007, about 1.5 years before I started working out seriously.
Alex - Deadlift - 255 lbs (115 kg) x 6
Played: 49
Description: I am performing a Deadlift, 255 pounds (115 kilos) for 6 reps at 180 pounds body weight, on October 3, 2009. This was a new personal best for me while keeping good form (which is average in this video).
WE MUST BE UNSTOPPABLE AGAINST ANY WEIGHT AGAINST US ALWAYS STRONGER THAN THE BARS, HOOKS, CLIPS, BENCHES, AND MACHINES THIS IS OUR GYM OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME WE OWN EVERY WEIGHT IN THE BUILDING WEAKNESS DOES NOT EXIST IN OUR MINDS WE STAY FOCUSED IT IS ONLY HEAVY IF YOU THINK IT IS AND SO WE THINK ALL WEIGHT IS LIGHT WEIGHT THATS WHY WE ARE WHAT WE ARE M A S S I V E > > > > MOTIVATION
STOP LOOKING AT THAT GUY IN THE MIRROR BECAUSE HE CAN NOT CHANGE YOU HE IS ONLY A REFLECTION YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CHANGE YOURSELF>>>>MOTIVA TION
I think that a big part of why I'm finally up over 200 is that I really started eating. I'm pushing 3,900 calories every day. I said bye bye to my abs for a while and just focused on eating enough for my body to grow. My shakes right now are really simple: 1 cup milk, 1.5 scoops protein, and 2 cups oats blended with some water. It's ~60g pro, ~80g carb, and 10g fat.
