Background

When I Started: Aug 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I started working out in 2003 with dumbbells (without a clue), and from 2007 I've been working out lightly with various basic exercises. I didn't train at all from 2004-2007. In August 2008, I decided that I really want to develop my body and joined a gym.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Pumping is my remedy! I can see my progress, and I love the pump. I also like to try to get better than I am now.

I do 12 sets per body part, at most. For each exercise, I'm trying to do 12 reps for each set of the exercise. If I can do that, I just add weight the next time.

New squat record

I squated 265 lbs (120 kg) x 6 today, and this in the fifth set (after 200 x 8, 220 x 8, 240 x 6, 255 x 6)! This is a new record (by 5 kg), and puts my one-rep max over 300 for the first time (308 lbs).
