How I Started:
I was a senior in high school when I first used the weight room. Since then I've been everywhere from rail-thin teenager to 180 strong tall lbs to 130 and 15% body fat... and pretty much everywhere in between. Over the past 2 years I've focused moreso on running and really let the body fat %s creep back up. Add to that frequent knee injuries from running and the lbs packed on even faster. So, now I'm back at it and getting ready for the Fire Academy!
Why I Love It:
Because I know that I get the results that I want. I feel better. I stand taller. I feel more capable doing daily chores. Most importantly - - -> lean muscle mass burns more calories!
How I Stay Motivated:
We'll see if my old methods still stick. Pick a fitness personaity or model... use photos of that person as a reminder of what my goals are - my end state. I know that if she can do it - then I can do it!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Um... I was 125 and 13% body fat when I graduated college!!! I want that back - or even better... 135 and 10-13% bf.
