I guess I was born to be a personal trainer. While most people are content to read the latest fantasy novel or watch soap operas in their free time, I love putting together training programs. I wish I could break it down into a formula and I might just do that one day and produce it in a...
Been a while since I have left a msg, but I am pinging everyone to get some good motivation so I can kick start the program again. Not really seeing anything new and just wanting some additonal guidance. thanks and keep up the good work!
Want to run a 50 miler??? Cool man. I am planning on doing a 50k this winter, hoping for a 50 mi around summer. How do you maintain your size with running?
Hey friend. As I am sure you have noticed, I have been off the scene lately. A job change in September, coupled with tendonitis in my right elbow, has kept me out of the gym and off my routine. I am starting back and will need all the support I can muster. Surf by my blog occasionally and check on my progress. If you see progress, let me know. If not, let me have it! Don’t hold back – if I am going to get where I want to be I will need your help. Steve
I relate to your story - it is quite similar to my own. You were blessed though in reaching a decision much earlier. I agree with your emphasis on making a decision and counting the cost. Too few do this and that is why they never succeed. Perseverance because of a commitment to the journey is the other half needed in my opinion to stay the course.
Jeremy, happy Thanksgiving! Keep up the awesome work -- just don't eat too much. ;)

Hi Jeremy,
Still getting ready for that ultra. I did mine last week two days before I turned 40. It was an awesome 50K and I would definitely do it again.
