How I Started:
ive always loved lifting weights. when i was a kid i used to see how many times i could curl 25 pounds. i thought it was cool. but i got serious about lifting when my dad joined the military. i went into the gym and saw these massive dudes throwing up weight that i thought was just insane. i wanted to be just like that.
Why I Love It:
life is stressfull, and lifting weights is the perfect outlet. theres nothing like the feeling of throwing up 300 lbs for the first time.
How I Stay Motivated:
i set goals for myself. my main goal is a 405 bench max by the end of my senior year in high school.

im trying to get really good shoulders.. especially traps.
i do 4 sets of ten w/ 375lbs on shrugs, but.... i dunno how much variation i should put into this muscle group. any advice on moves would be apprciated.
Sup man! No secret here for the symetry. I just hit all body parts regularly. If I feel that a body part is lagging, I will just add an additional day of attention to the lagging body part until I feel that it has caught up. Wish I had your physique at your age!
yo I was just up in newport and I was on base and there was a bunch of workout equipment outside the gym. do you know what theyre doing with it? it was all in pretty good shape and Im going back up in a few weeks and Im about to take that shit haha.
That seems a wise decision to take a rest from the bench...let me know how it works out when you get back to it.
For me everything is moving slow and still can't get my diet down but not giving up yet!
