I was always skinny as a kid. I mean 6'2 127lb skinny. So I realized the only way to put on weight healthily was to eat right and lift weights. 18 years later and I'm still doin it.
Why I Love It:
It's great stress relief, can work out the days frustrations. I am healthy both physically and mentally because of it. It has helped me become a more confident person not only due to my physique but also because of my dedication to a healthy lifestyle.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a great couple of friends who I work out with is one way. I also like how I feel and to be honest how I look. I want to grow old and be fit like Jack Lalanne
BB Accomplishments:
I don't think I've ever had more than 7% body fat in my life. I was also able to hit 195lb several years ago but I was eating something like 8000 calories a day to do it!
What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
Anyone who hogs equipment to socialize. I'm here to work out.

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
Usually I wear sweat/workout pants or an old set of BDU pants and a t-shirt. Sometimes I wear a tank top on chest and back days so I can see what muscle groups are developing and make the mind/body connection easier. So far my weight gain has been pretty stagnant. I managed to put on about 10 lbs in a little over a month, but lost 5 and am back down to 170 lb on average, with a new body fat of 4.1% (according to the hand held BF tester). I feel bigger and think I look bigger, and I'm definitely stronger,...

I am getting back into it hardcore 3-5 days of weights cardio 5 days a week switching between running and swimming. I lost a little ground from recuperating but not to bad . I am still gunning for 8-10% bf andf ripped-ness!

i can tell you right now i never will! haha. there is a new steak house opening up here in june. one of my favorites. MMM. Its back and triceps today. How about you?
It is going pretty well, thanks for asking. Swimming & biking 2x a week in addition to doing CrossFit 4x a week. I feel strong on the bike but weak in the water. We will see on May 30th huh? How are you my friend?
hey bud. Training wasnt so great last week but i did legs on Saturday and had the best workout yet. Legs and ass are sore as hell right now! Im still trying to add lean mass while i shrink the midsection. All the bbq's this weekend didnt help! But you will never see me turn down some tri tip and beer! LOL
I find there are a lot more people who are serious about their training, and many are preparing for a competition of some sort. On Friday I went to watch the INBF show. The day after I was at Golds and the guest poser was there training and the recent pro card winner was having his photo shoot. AWESOME!!!
Hey Pete, good to hear from you. I have improved so much in just a month. I hope the strength gains translate into muscle gains. The atmosphere is different in a good way. If it makes sense, everyone is more intense yet more chill at the same time. I feel relaxed being there. It helps me push harder. Tell me more about your progress. Stay motivated!
