How I Started:
My former trainer and Figure Coach, Terry Stokes asked me if I had ever thought about training for a show because he thought I had the body type to do it. I accepted his offer to train me. My mom used to be a trainer a while ago, and I think I am just following in her footsteps.
Why I Love It:
I love the confidence that working out gives me. I feel stronger and sexier than I have ever felt in my life. I know how to be healthy and keep a healthy life. I can help other people live a healthy life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Every day it seems I see a new muscle group come out or a new muscle ripple. That's what keeps me coming back.
BB Accomplishments:
I have done 9 shows and by far the best moment was this past season when I won the figure tall division at a USBF show in Binghamton. It was the first show I had trained myself for, diet and workouts and the feeling of accomplishment was amazing.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I usually do about 4-5 sets and 8-12 reps depending on how burned out I am feeling. I am not a fan of 3 sets of 10. I feel like that's old school. I like a good warm-up set and then 3 good heavy sets....more

Yea that's what I've done, is this is my new lifestyle and it's great. I feel so wonderful. Yea Pharmacy School will be tough but its so worth it in the end.

Nah, I don't have the time to compete. I work 40 hours a week plus I'm a full-time college student. I'm heading to pharmacy school in a year or so. :) I'm just doing this as a lifestyle change to look and feel better.

It's always good to get away. I worked out at BF Sat. & Sun. Probably will go tomorrow evening too. I'm on a one week pass. Pretty sure I'm going to switch over. That place is freaking nice!
