When I Started: Jan, 2000
How I Started: I've been working out since high school and the Army. I was in great shape. Strong as heck at 170 and able to run 2 miles in under 12 minutes.Then I went to college, became apathetic and grew into a fat body. I hit 280 in weight and as of 2000 I decided enough was enough. I've been back at it since then...got down to a solid 220 in about 2 years and I've been hovering around there ever since...well, give or take 10 pounds.
Why I Love It: Sure I like living a healthier lifestyle and I love how it makes me feel...that natural high of getting a good lift or a good run. I love to test myself...to be better than yesterday...to hurt and endure. But nothing beats having your kids ask you to make a muscle cause they are proud of you.
How I Stay Motivated: My kids and being a former soldier...thinking of what our men and women in the Armed Forces continue to do every day.
BB Accomplishments: None to speak of.

I did dumbbells as the foundation of my chest workout for the first time in a long time.  Felt good.  i just wish the gym had something in between the 125s and the 150s.

I'm working harder on squeezing and feeling the muscles.

For weights, I try to do 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off. I also try to do my cardio as a separate session whenever possible.
