I first picked up a dumbbell when I was 12 years old, and started reading and learning about how to workout properly when I was 13. I put off bodybuilding for a few years to wrestle. Subsequently my parents bought me a Bowflex, and I gained 40 pounds in the following 7 months. Since then I have continued to increase my knowledge and have recently become an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer.
Why I Love It:
First and most important, I love the pump...Lactic Acid build up that makes my muscles feel unbearably, yet wonderfully tight...I love driving home after an intense workout, being in the warm and soothing shower, and then in the middle of washing my hair get "stuck" from the position that my arms are at! Haha! That is usually a great indicator of a successful Biceps/Triceps Workout...a good indicator of a successful Leg workout is when your sitting on the toilet and...i'll just stop there. You guys know the rest of that story. I love bodybuilding because it requires discipline that follows you everywhere you go, with just about everything you do. "Everyday is a new battle" and I feel like I have a purpose for waking up in the morning!
How I Stay Motivated:
It's not hard for me to stay motivated. I have purposefully created my life so that I am constantly living in Inspiration consequently leading to more inspiration...it can be unbearably pleasant at times. My job as a Personal Trainer means I get to be inspired as a work, when I go to the gym, when I am working on my computer, when I'm "playing"...it all motivates me. I think that it also helps to have a clear mind with all the stress that daily life can offer. That is why I take the time to Meditate and do Yoga at least twice throughout my day. I think that Meditation and Yoga have been one of the biggest factors in keeping me Inspired, Motivated, Aware, Peaceful, and Blissfully Productive.

Goal (Long):
I have always fluctuated around 10-12% bodyfat. This summer and possibly leading up into the fall if necessary, I want to get "flexibly searious" about my nutrition. I say "flexibly searious" because anything too searious will drive my nuts! I want to see how long it takes me to get to competition weight, I want to chart my progress, and I want to make absolutely sure that my lean body mass does not decrease. Once I comfortably know what works for me in terms of nutritional planning I can then begin the neceassary preperation for competition, posing, posing routine, etc...I want to compete locally and then eventually move onto the Musclemedia bodybuilding competition in Miami Beach Florida...I believe that is where it is held. That is still quiet a bit down the road, and is not my main focus at the moment. I plan to keep my mind focused on the moment, moment by moment...its the best way to get things done!

Thanx for the compliment bro. Know what ya mean about the family picnics, But great rewards come with sacrifices. Gotta have strong will power to reach that goal. Stay focused and it will come. BOL Keep pumpin!
My diet alternates from moderate carbs to low carbs for my cutting depending on heavy or moderate lifting day. I am following the 8 week ripped program in flex. What bout you?
I was workin out and what not lol Ive been feelin so great latly man, thank you for all your support, you are a true friend thru and thru, so glad we bois again, cant wait for legs tomorrow i almost feel the pain already haha
