434AT3M3 Deadlifts this morning were OK. Was hoping for a PR but it did not happen. I need more sleep. Not going to happen with a new born.

  • I nursed AND worked full time, so I NEVER had an enabler...My boys would nurse all darn night probably because they missed me while I was at work. You're a great dad! Enabler, yes but still a great dad! :-)

  • My workout numbers are tumbling. I am beyond frustrated about how it is impacting my strength and stamina with my lifts. My CNS is getting crushed and taking extra stims does not help. He will be one month old on Friday so I am trying to enjoy my time with my son. Named him Hulk btw...not really but close.

Purdin Thanks for the tip but that's my problem I'm not a very big eater and most meats I won't eat so I have to supplement biggest part of my protein bc I don't get hardly any protein in my diet. It just seems like I can't gain weight or much muscle no matter what I eat. May 22, 2013 10:36am

melrae27 well, the people I trained with were all about the strength aspect of it. Every woman I've known to start crossfit was afraid to even lift a 45lb barbell...so atleast for them crossfit helped them get over that mental limitation! May 13, 2013 10:42am

melrae27 yes trust me...I'm not ever trainer certified in CrossFit and I know more than some of the trainers here at my base. I learned from some amazing trainers as well as some bodybuilders...and I learned more from my deployment to Afghanistan than I ever have...my bissgest pet peeve besides improper deadlift form are when I see a trainer not teaching the clean correctly...it's not a damn reverse curl! melrae27 lol...yes I know...I feel your pain on that one...I actually want to do a figure competition...but the strict diet leaves me so weak feeling...so I'm trying to do it in a healthy way...it's taking me longer to lose the fat (3 lbs a month...lol)...but it's slowly vanishing...and I'm still strong! I'm not sure how much total fat I've lost because I've built muscle too...I wish I had a body fat scanner in my house! LOL May 10, 2013 9:29am

HeatherOT OK! I can't take it anymore. My A$$ is killing me and not improving. I called my crappy insurance and I get about 10 visits of Chiropractic. Can you email me the name of that person in Tempe again? I am not sure when I am going to go...but I HAVE to do something because this is chronic at this point and I have goals and a trip home I need to look awesome for! Thanks!!! Apr 12, 2013 6:13am
