Getting to it 03-Feb-2010 Status: Well I have managed to lose 2 KGs with the minimum effort and doing it the painful way, the healthy way. Since I can???t do serious cardio due to left-knee problem - I walk 20 minutes and I cycle 20 minutes. Everyday I ensure a minimum of 10 minutes walking as the essential thing to do at the gym. So imagine losing 2 Kilos and maintaining the loss for past 3 weeks. Making the most of it That title to this post refers not to any single thing - it is a gamut of things from daily life and is a way of life - and it enables, enthuses and ensures your success in life, universe, everything! First the status report: 1. Joined a new employer this year, so a good start to the year 2010, but means I need more discipline, dedication and motivation to stay on my program. 2. The injury report: First, let?s hear my bad news. I developed water-in-the-knee problem on my left knee caused when I was stretching for warm ups. It swells up and stiffens the knee with the synovial fluid accumulating there. Picture a tiny balloon near your knee joint which starts to accumulate fluid when stressed. I can't do weight training for the leg now and even something simple like running aggravates the joint and leads to swelling. The orthopaedic surgeon prescribed: 1.
