How I Started:
I have always been interested in working out - I was on dance team in college, and I was in the gym a lot but never really took it serious until recently. I have been training since April but I just started training really hard these past couple weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing some REAL results.
Why I Love It:
Looking in the mirror and actually liking what I see - that's a wonderful feeling, and knowing that I did it myself! No one can take that away from me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing all the pros - Jenny Lynn, Monica Brant, Valerie Waugaman, and all the other women with FANTASTIC physiques who sweat hard yet stay glamorous inspire me so much! I WANNA BE THAT!

Goal (Long):
My goal for the summer is to maintain a hot bod at the beach while still putting on size. I want to stay consistant with my diet and my goal is to train abs every other day and shoulders twice a week - which is something I have not done before!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Jumping rope or straight up running on the treadmill, whatever gets my heart rate up and keeps it up. Endorphines are an added bonus. :D Hee hee.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Recently strained my serratus - never thought it would happen and it was so wierd because I couldn't figure out exactly how I did it but it hurt like a broken rib and I could barely breath! Used lots of ice and did breathing exercises so I didn't get bronchial. It didn't take too long to recover. Ohhh even at the show I just did - watching the fitness girls was the best!! Not that us figure girls werent great...but those women just ROCK the stage!! I think the Figure shows at the Arnold and O would be different...we didnt have any one on one stage time...and those girls do get to strut their stuff!!

Hey gorgeous! Next one is June 7th!!! I'm back on diet and training again as of today!! I will have to really bust bootie in Japan so I dont go up and try to stay clean...but still have a fun vacation...but I think i'm gonna push hard and go for it!! When is your next show?? Thank you SO much Trish!! I'm excited!! And definatly feeling like I dont want too much rebound weight...I think that might be the hardest part of all of this. My trainer is going to help me 'ease' back after comp...and get ready for a second comp in June! I love your red suit! That is gorgeous!! You really do look awesome!!
Sorry so late to reply... just long, painful hours of ab work; lots or swiss ball crunches, decline crunches, and TONS of hanging leg lifts.. technique is crucial to me
