Went to University of Connecticut to study strength and conditioning, became a personal trainer and got hooked on lifting
Why I Love It:
I love the endorphins, the rush after a great workout, feeling sore the next two days, waking up to find how the hard workouts have paid off.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am highly self-motivated. However, I do keep an eye out for people who have the right knowledge, training technique and nutrition advice which helps me augment my fitness. What I learned is to keep a journal, a food log, a calendar to track your good and bad days, and most importantly an image (whether in your head or on your fridge) of what you want to look like. Even so the best way to get to where you wanna be is knowing you have people with the same interests to support you. And of course having the drive, dedication and determination to keep you going strong!
BB Accomplishments:
4th Place Figure 101 Division OCB Presidental Cup

Training is the greatest metaphor for life, because you get out of it what you put into it.

I swear I have abs under here! Just working on leaning out so you can actually see them.
My end of the summer goal is to compete in my first figure competition and look the best I can to be competitve amongst the other novices:)
Goal (Long):
To push myself harder mentally and physically, focus on what makes me happy and not what makes other people happy, explore new methods of training to challenge myself and my clients, to motivate others by my physique and attitude, to always live each day to the fullest!
Why I like this video: I used to watch this movie every night before a big race. "Without Limits" is the "Rudy" of track and field. If this don't get you pumped up to run your guts out I don't know what will:)
You are right, i know next time you will kick ass big time. i am in and out but november one it should be fulltime and its going to be major transformation stay tuned. So whats next for you.
Awwww you miss seeing me? Miss that eye candy I give you? Lol jk lemme stop. I have been training in Lexington Park for the most part but was up there the friday before your competition to wish you good luck but you weren't there :(. That hurt my heart lol. Other than that training is going good and gonna start dieting and cutting next month. I might be up there again this friday to see you though :)
Top 2 at best and that is my final answer lol. Yeah Thai Inter is great and too greasy to get directly after a competiton (gotta think of another place to take you on a friendly date hehe jk). Probably on Friday I will come up to the gym to wish you good luck and whatnot.
Well right now you look great and competition week you will be guaranteed a high place in the competition...can we say 1st place? :) Hmmm Cheesecake Factory and wine? Wow lol. How about Thai Inter as well? ;)
lol I was playing with you but maybe I should give you a free training session ;). I might not be certified but I know a thing or two about goal-specific training and massage therapy lol let me stop. Anyways showtime for you is next week, how psyched are you?
Yeah true. All that hard work should not go to waste right? I got until near the end of this month to figure out something with my membership but I don't mind paying $40 a month again either. Why not you give me a training session one day when you are available? It would be fun :)
Yeah I feel you on that. I am only competing since so many people say I should so I am gonna give it a go and if I do well I might do another regardless if I get sponsored or not. But hey since my membership is getting close to extinction do you think you could pull some strings and get me like a 19.99 a month membership? lol
