Wicked, I know where Middlesex is coz I used to live there :) well, Northwood is kinda outskirts of middlesex I think, but most places around there, ruislip, pinner, northwood hills I know like the back of my head lol
And thanks, but yours smacks all over mine! Do you lift for physique or strength or just do it casually for general fitness?

Thanks man, there are alot better physiques out there though, but you haven't got far off from building a decent physique, 6 months of hard training, rest and nutrition can build up quite abit of muscle, I've been training on and off since 18, so been a total of almost 2 years of actual training. Make sure you have a goal when you train and you'll go far

Incline dumbell and flat babell is the way to go, always focus on your fast twitch muscle fibres as they have the greatest propensity to grow, focus on type IIa and IIb when bulking...the heavy and explosive approach is what worked for me so that's all I can advise. Go hit them heavy weights bro!

I'm a far cry from my peers though, injured atm due to bad form on squats, plus I don't reckon I'll be able to put on much size whiles doing track, after 5 years when I quit I'll be looking to catch up with you guys...thanks for the encouragement though, and are you one of the dudes on the muscle mania?

Man 2/ 2.5 hours a day of cardio?? Do you do HIT cardio or the more slow stuff? 5 weeks isn't long but long enough to make the progress you need (not sure how much you need really coz you look like you are already toned and in shape!)

haha yeah it is slow but I've only been doing athetics for 6 months solid, had injuries come up recently and since age 11 haven't done any running or even sports until last year August lol so I reckon if I improve how I have so far, in four years it coud be a possibility...

That's real encouraging man! I'm gonna wait till my back heals, atm suffering from a lower back injury so I'm staying away from squats atm, but I will look to increase squats, cleans and snatches drastically (but gradually) by the end of the year. Hopefully my natural speed added with more power will have the desired effects. And when I quit track I'm gonna be looking to make the same gains you made bro!

Olympic lifts such as cleans and snatch? Yeah atm I'm having to teach myself using youtube vid's :\ and there aint no way I could get to your size man, that's why I gave up trying to become a bodybuilder coz I don't reckon it's in my genetics to get big :\ but track isn't so bad, how long you and your training partner been training for then?
