To fine tune my body for the competition in April !
Goal (Long):
I have been into bodybuilding for about 3yrs. After injuring my back, I had to give up training for about 2yrs.
I started back light training in July 08, I am still a beginner at this ! My weight was 245lbs on a 5'7" frame. Today Jan6/09 I am down to 203lbs and trying to gain some muscle as well.
I find it difficult to keep consistent with my training. I commute 2 1/2hrs a day to work, and I have constant shift changes which makes it difficult to stay on track with eating clean.
I am going the Arnold Classic in March and don't want to be "FAT"
things are good. I'm at a point were my weight isn't really a concern to me. Focusing on muscle building now since its winter and I never go out without 4 layers of clothes anyhow. In March I will probably focus more on Bf% reduction for summer. It's not really shorts weather where I live til June, May if your lucky. So I am excited to see what I can do between now and then.
I remember you talking about how cool it was last year. Pittsburgh is only about 2 hours from Columbus so I think I am going to check it out this year. I'm hoping I can get a friend to go with me, but most of my friends aren't into fitness like I have become. So I might have to fly solo on this one. I think it woudl be very exciting though.
As a fellow Canadian I just wanted to drop by and wish you all the best. You are on your way and I believe that with your continued determination you will achieve all of your fitness goals. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve all you dream of on your fitness journey. You are a fantastic inspiration to so many others. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Hmmm, have to wonder what "Canadian Basic Training" is like??? Out running the polar bear chasing you around the igloo??? Great attitude darlin!!! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the positive comment. I realize the scale may start going in the other direction and I'm not all that worried as I'm still loosing inches and can see more definition.
I see that you are making progress as well. Way to go. That lean diet must be doing its' job. Yeah!
funny you ask about supps I am currently off of them all but mega green tea. going for a more streamlined look also goin to try to get all my nutrition from "food" for a while lol
well i'm sort of limited on diet out here in Afghanistan but in the states i don't cut carbs or that much (good) fat but i cut almost all greases and concentrated sugars...
