shrimpy4inchy just in case you didnt know the ingredients are listed in order of content, so honestly I strongly believe that the best protein for a woman trying to maintain a lean figure or obtain one is ON gold standard 100% whey protein, the first protein source is whey protein isolate followed by concentrate etc...5lb jug can be purchased for around 50$cdn so a great value for 77 servings of 24gr of protein Mar 18, 2011 8:25pm

shrimpy4inchy egg is a very good protein a whole egg contains 6 gr of protein and cooked is viewed as being 91% bioavailable and contains bcaas but also contains saturated fats, the egg protein in your tub is derived from the egg whites so not a bad protein but for quick absorbability your much better off with a whey protein isolate which is absorbed very quickly Mar 18, 2011 8:22pm

shrimpy4inchy bcaa means branch chain amino acids. they are specific proteins that you dont always get in your regular diet however ON 100% whey protein contains 5grams of bcaas per scoop 24grams of protein in total per scoop and they are a great company you can purchase their products on this site at the online store. you can buy glutamine another amino acid that helps fight catabolism and helps in recovery at any pharmacy or on this site Mar 18, 2011 6:13pm

Hulkfan1 Yes, I am not sure how accessible it might be where you live... but you can get Creatine monohydrate and mix that with some juice or water... They also sell recovery drinks, but I would stay away from gatoraids and things of that nature. I recommend Branch Chain Amino Acids... they come in pills or powder. Mar 18, 2011 6:04pm

shrimpy4inchy as a woman you should take about 2.5 grams of creatine before and after working out....not more....you can purchase creatine monohydrate at any reputable pharmacy for very little money It does however contribute to water retention because what it does is absorb water into the muscle that the designer creatines do not. I would forgo the creatine and stick with l-glutamine for reconver or simply some bcaa's in your post workout shake. Mar 18, 2011 6:02pm
