When I Started:
How I Started:
I started swimming competitively at a pretty young age and swam all through college. In a effort not to get out of shape, I started bodybuilding once my swimming "career" ended. I love it. I got really lazy when I started working and then I had kids and got even worse. I love lifting, and lifting heavy. I've made my mind up that I'm going to get back into it - full force!
Why I Love It:
Nothing is more empowering to me than being a strong, lean female. Now that I'm a mom to two awesome little boys, I want to be a good example of what hard work and dedication can accomplish.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror and the scale!
BB Accomplishments:
After the birth of my children, I weighed in at a whopping 205 lbs. (my high pregnancy weight was 222 lbs.) I did everything wrong...not to mention I was on bedrest. I am currently down to 145 lbs. (through lifting, spinning and improved eating) and have a goal of getting to a lean, mean 115-120 lbs. I want to lose fat and gain even more muscle.
This was taken about one month after I had my second child. Yuck, anyone? I didn't even realize I could get so big and look so awful. I hated myself and knew I had to make big changes.
Here is today. The scale isn't budging, but I am starting to feel more muscular.
I want to be the best me I can be. I long to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Goal (Long):
I weighed 115 lbs at my wedding. I slowly gained and gained and gained weight. That time in my life was the first and the only time I was comfortable with myself. I want to get back to that feeling.
I want to gain some more muscle 2-3 pounds (I am 103 pounds of lean muscle mass and would rather be 105 pounds) and get my overall weight down to around 115 - 120 (8.7% - 12.5% body fat- I am currently 28.9 % body fat - ICK!). I would like to get back to my wedding day weight. I want my six-pack back! I want to feel comfortable with myself.
I want keep my husband happy and raise two strong and well adjusted boys. I want to teach them to set goals for themselves and (no matter how long it takes) reach for them.

Oh wow a whole house of sick boys that's no good. Well it's good to hear they are all better now and that you didn't get sick too. Training is going good. How is yours going now that you are back at it?
yea I use to be fast but age and injury to right ankle slowed me doun .I also enjoy half marathon around here mini indy marathon is about best ran race in Indiana
glad to hear that, you ready for a back workout of 2000 reps yet? playing hard is always good. hope you are having a great week. train hard, play harder. jeff
nice job, im proud of you. now you are in a league of your own. no one can touch you until they become a 2000 rep member. how did you feel afterwards and how do you feel now? was the workout for chest or legs? any plans for the weekend? train hard, play harder. jeff
smith machine bent over rows. lat pull down, seated hammer strenght double handed rows. lower back extensions 45 degree. seated close grip machine pull. i will see how all that plays and go from there. i just got down with 2000 reps for my chest. i love this feeling it gives me. no one at the gym knows what light weight can do for muscle fibers at a high rep range. oh well, how is your day and training coming? on my way to single digit bodyfat. yep
wow, how cool are you now? nobody near you or with in hundreds of miles can touch you now. you make it to round four you will be my hero. right now you are standing on the top step with me. next monday you will move to the top level and i will be the one looking up to you. oh yah...train hard. play harder. jeff
