I find skg inspiratioal because of the long dedication to say fit at the same age that Iam at. It gives me incentive to train harder to get to my goal and stay there.
For the great come back from your injury, It show again you can do anything you put your mind to if you really want it. Great job man you are where i want to be in my fitness goal.
I dropped 4% in roughly 3 months at the start of my training which focussed mainly on diet. I try to limit my high GI carbs and pay attention mainly to protein and carb levels during the day (dont calorie count though).
HEY JOE, I'VE HEARD OF THEM, BUT NEVER TRIED THEM. I'VE USED SOME EGG WHITE PRTEIN POWDER BEFORE...BUT IT TENDS TO BE PRICEY. I'M ON A TIGHT SUPP BUDGET! SORRY ABOUT MISPELLING MILK THISTLE, THAT PROBABLY DIDN'T HELP. HOPE IT HELPS YOU, JUST ADDED IT BACK TO MY REGIMENT AFTER HEARING YOUR DILEMA. MORE PROTEIN REQUIRES THE LIVER WORK OVERTIME & THE M.T. HELPS KEEP THE LIVER CLEAN & HEALTHY.
The rule of thumb for losing weight is to eat 9-10 calories per pound of TARGET body weight (take it in 10lb increments). So your first target would be 180--1620 to 1800 calories per day spread out over 6 meals. Make 50% of those protein=225g or 30-40g per meal. This plan should take off 2-3 pounds per week. Keep me posted.
