It's my favorite hobby. I do it when I'm happy. I do it when I'm angry. I love to look better than everyone else, too.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just love the lift. Plus every sport I'm in requires it if I want to be any good.
I'm not motivated to update my bodyspace, however, so it's probably not very accurate.
BB Accomplishments:
Began my freshman year benching a wimpy 90 lbs. Now I'm ripped, and aiming for the big 3 double 0.
During the 07 season. I weighed about 155. That's the school weightroom mirror.
See my new fone? Anyway, after getting tendinitis, and spring training finally is over, I can't work upper body for a month. Half-way there though. I have worked my abs, though. But the rest has gotten soft, damnit...
I heard from one of your buddies(bigj_09)today and thought I'd see how things are going with you, too. I see you've outgrown your screen name (congrats). How's the lifting going?
I'm glad your football season went well - and if your weight gain was mostly muscle I wouldn't worry about it, in fact I'd think it be a big help with powerlifting. I found that I made my biggest gains in strength and size when following powerlifting routines, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens for you especially since you're actually in competition with it. Good luck! I'll be interested in hearing how competition goes for you.
Just dropping by to see how you're doing - you look solid and ripped in your most recent pics, keep up the good work. I hope you're over your tendinitis by now and back in the gym on a regular basis. Maybe be a 170 lb linemane this coming season? Good luck!
Sorry to read about your tendinitis - and it looks like you were making some great progress in your bench, too. Be sure to get the rest you need and you should be able to get back to training even better than before. By they way, your upper body looks very solid in your progress picture and not soft as you say. Keep up the great work!
I see - and I took a look at his profile and he is one "big boy" all right. Maybe you can be stronger than him pound for pound though. Keep trying to catch up to him and you'll both end up stronger for it. Good luck.
Sometimes it's the little things, like pictures in the background, that catch my attention. I don't know why - good job on editing that picture though. Good luck in reaching your goals. Why do you say you want to be stronger than "almost" everyone on the team? Keep aiming for the top - you appear to be well on your way!
Not a bodybuilding question or comment but I'm curious - how did you get that photo of yourself in your profile picture on the shelf it he background? Or were you just recreating an earlier pose? Good solid physique by the way. Keep up the great work!
