How I Started:
In 2002, my brother and I started running and as I built my endurance up I began to really enjoy it. Then in 2004, my wife and I decided to do the whole 12 week thing with pictures. It worked really well for us because we added better eating habits to our exercise regimin and we were able to shed a lot pounds, feel healthier, etc.
Why I Love It:
I love running more than weight training because of the relatively quick progress I can make. When I'm out of shape I can start running (3) 10 min miles and before two weeks be at (4) 8-9 min miles.
How I Stay Motivated:
Progress. As long as I can see progress it motivates me to keep at it. And then there is always the reasurance from others that helps tremendously.
BB Accomplishments:
In 2004 I lost 30+ pounds that put me at roughly 148 at the time. I was beginning to see an outline of my abs when in just the right light.

Into Wk #9 Maintaining Food intake with low sugars, low fats a moderate proteins. Backing off cardio some and increasing lifting. Weight this morning was 166 and BF was at 14.6%.

My little sister was born in 75. Amazing how old I feel. hard to think of her being in her 30's. Pretty funny comment on the abs. the only reason i have them is because I started working on them 16 years ago and for 10 years was pretty damn dedicated to doing crunches every morning. I hope you have a great weekend and avoid the flu!
