How I Started:
Work is very physically demanding and I need to stay in top form to get my job done safely and efficiently.
Why I Love It:
I love the natural high you get after a good work out, and seeing the results of sticking to a plan. I like the compliments I get from others.
How I Stay Motivated:
My nephew looks up to me, and I want to continue to be a hero in his eyes. My fiance appreciates my current physique and I want to give her more reasons to keep on enjoying it.
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost 20lbs in the 12 weeks I have been on Steve Poynter's Psychotic Fat Burning plan. That's a bodyfat change from 24% to 15.4%, and I can only continue to watch my body transform into the shape I always wanted!

Goal (Long):
I want to be able to show off my abs again. I want my biceps to be visibly large even when I'm not flexing them.
I know with proper nutrition, weight lifting and cardio, I can achieve anything.
I would like to have 8% body fat within 1 year.
To see someone else on the same fitness and eating plan as myself accomplish what he has with the weight he started with, that's motivation and inspiration right there. If he can do it, what excuse do I have for failure?
If not for Charlotte, I would not have been inspired to go with Steve Poynter's meal and fitness plan. Her transformation while under his guidance is inspiring and what got me off the fence and seriously into working out.
Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I made a cell chart using Excel so I could easily log the weight and reps of exercises I do. Otherwise it's just guesswork as to how much weight or reps you did last time. It also helps motivate you to do more weight, change up the reps etc. It's an effective tool.I made a cell chart using Excel so I could easily log the weight and reps of exercises I do. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Communicate with friends and family your goals. Keep a journal both written and visual (photos/videos) to track your progress and see the results. It's so easy to go, "Hey, I don't really notice any results." But when you look back on past pictures and compare them to present ones, or look at a table of your measurements, or talk to people close to you, you can see and hear the changes you've made so far.Communicate with friends and family your goals. Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
So they can help keep me motivated. If you don't let anyone know, who else can help encourage you?
I started on my 12 week transformation with one thought in mind. Change. Change my body, change my attitude, change my lifestyle. And with the program from one man, and the support of friends, family, and my online support group, I have achieved that which I started.
Thanks for the vid Jeff ;) really awesome and helpful for someone like me. Now if only I didn't live on the 2nd floor...I feel bad doing jumping jacks and (possibly) bothering the downstairs neighbors. :\
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! you did so great in the twelve weeks. i dont feel i am making any progress but i took two weeks off. im gonna restart back at week one i think and try again.
Okay brother of mine. Time to unveil the 12 week new and improved you! Your audience is awaiting! Also I would love it if you would be so kind as to send me my latest pictures either individually or side by sides!! Muchas Gracias!
