The gym - it's my time to be selfish. The feeling of reaching a goal, pushing up one more rep, feeling the bar bend in your hands or on your back because it's loaded with plates, hitting a personal best, or leaving the gym so utterly exhausted you're unable to walk correctly... what's not to love?
How I Stay Motivated:
Step 1: Set goal.
Step 2: Bust your butt to attain goal.
Step 3: Reach goal.
Step 4: Repeat.
BB Accomplishments:
No definite plans to compete.

This is me when I was going through a very long and difficult divorce. My divorce diet consisted of anything I could afford - which wasn't much at the time. Started training about a year and a half after this pic was taken.
This pic was taken during an intense yard work day (not usually a part of my weekly training schedule). Scratches and bumps on my back are war wounds from trimming the hedges.

Finally. I 'officially' pulled (deadlift) over 500lbs this afternoon fairly easily - raw, no wraps, straps, or belt, just chalk. I've been working at this for a couple years. I have more in me. Knowing how 'easy' the lift was today, I know I could have pulled more. My shattered finger...
that sounds cool. i have a new boyfriend that has a show in 2 wks. its a pro qualifier. after that i will be back at the training hard. with his help of course. work is kicking my butt though. 12 - 16 hr days almost every day. worked 2 mos without a day off. trying to get my mojo back.
AWSOME, i really need help with nutrition right now though ive read alot of articles n even tried some but i seem to only really be gaining strength not size and its kinda dissapointing
What'up JB if you have a day where you just do cardio and abs, do u take your supplements as if you're lifting that day? Just tryin to get the most out of my training you know?
WOW! Great pictures and an even better profile. What you wrote shows you clearly a complete man (brains and brawn). I especially liked your "Forum Signature" Thanks for posting!
hi, things are getting better at work and i will be back at the training again soon. i am looking forward to it. i changed gyms and like the new atmosphere. glad yours is going well also.
hey man.I recently forced myself to where I could take animal pak (large pills) and am currently on pak, pump and nitro. I have to say its the best stack ive ever used. as well as my workouts after that deloading have done nothing but intensified. currently training 4 times a week heavy, running on sunday.
HEY MR> BENNETT long time no talk. man you have been bustin your butt off by the looks of you picture. looking big, im at a 235 bench now and controling it. ive just been living the animal lifestyle. well your lookin great man. good luck on obtainig you next goals!!!! ~RYAN~
Keep at it - I see that you've nearly doubled the weight of your deadlift since 2005. It will be pretty cool if you can more than double it by the end of this year (maybe even past the 600 mark?). That would even be worth the hassle of buying new clothes as you grow out of them! Keep up the great work and good luck.
It's been a while since I last checked in on your progress - looks like you are making some serious weight gains according to your charts, and congrats on the serious weights you are using for deadlifts, etc. Keep up the great work!
thanks mate. i'm quite new to body space and working my way around it. prob in da nxt few days will master it all. enjoy your weekend. good luck with your goals. cheers, john.
