Was browsing the "pictures that make you laugh" thread when I came across your delicious picture. Sorry to hear about the accident, and I wish you lots of luck with your goal. It's cool you haven't given up despite the disabilities, and I believe many people would have called it quits there. So, my hat and skull are off to you for that! I can see why you would inspire people even though you might not see why - your willpower to continue is what inspires others, I'm certain :-).
